Rénovation après incendie

The building of the former "grand hotel" of Renens, dating back to 1906 and listed Note 3 in the inventory of historical monuments, suffered extensive damage during the fire of 10 September 2007.

After studying various alternatives for the renovation of the building and a call for a general contractor quotes, the work started in December 2008. The interior of the building was completely emptied, only the historical facades, the interior walls and the stairwell were maintained.

Very different types of the new assignments defined by the project manager smoothly integrate the historic structure of the building. The building comprises 15 apartments, 1300 m2 of office space, 3 shops and a coffee-shop.
