Real balcony on Lake Geneva, this site offers a splendid setting from the edge of the vineyard. Conscious integration in view of the proximity of Lavaux, World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the establishment on the plot follows the logic of the surrounding vineyards: the irregular shaped plots are juxtaposed cantilever like on Lake Geneva.
The intervention with simple lines reads across the village habitat and fits smoothly into the existing fabric. Similarly, the roof is made into a garden. The size of the glass surfaces is reduced and is treated to minimize glare promoting optimal landscape integration.
The capacity measurements are generated by free and dynamic forms so as to clear views, perspectives on the lake and the Alps allow furthermore a typological variation. Each apartment and has at least three directional views and has a generous outdoor extension, as a garden, a loggia or an elevated terrace.
