The implementation of the project responds to the topography of the site and the characteristics of its landscape while exacerbating its qualities at the same time. It highlights and articulates the layered connection between the football center and public space to the South, interface to public transport (metro and bus). The stadium is part of the hillside north of the site, and shapes a new level of elevated visual reference. Within it, the bleachers which are integrated in the natural elevation are effectively protected from the wind.
The administrative program which expands in the South, in the base so shaped, and open to the city. The east of the site hosts the logistics area (emergency, coaches, staff …) into a generously vegetated area extending the wooded banks of the Petit-Flon. A landscape ramp provides vehicle service of the upper ring of the stadium.
The complex embedded in the ground is crimped by a large indigenous tree expansion. These landscapes are a part of the identity of the place and contribute to the protection of public spaces against the wind, and to absorb noise.
The horizontal lines of the south side of the base building spread out to the West in wooded public terraces, leading to Blécherette metro station and bus stop along the Route de Châtelard. The apartments are oriented north-south. The rooms are to the north side and the living areas are to the south side. A majority of the housing offers views of Lake Leman.
