The benefit of a dominant position on the valley of the Vuachère, the residences of Béthusy have an obvious contemporary tendency. Set along a main road, the building emphasizes its belonging to the city by taking the traditional settlement of the surrounding frame.
The project thus resembles an urban house, of compact size and dramatically meets the conditions surrounding it. A very exclusive language – rangy openings in a wall – on Chailly avenue protects and privatize the interiors. A much more open language to the south embraces the rest of the exceptionally verdant plot.
The internal layout of spaces also meets these conditions. A middle zone distributes two luxury apartments per floor. The apartments are structured by a central core containing the services that officiates as filter between the sleeping area to the north and the living areas to the south. Differentiated treatment corresponding to the special conditions of the outside provide ideal lighting and living conditions to the interior spaces. A generous outdoor living extension surrounds the three facades of the living room.
The clean lines and simple and strong volumetric expression is underlined by the treatment of balconies and awnings which, placed vertically along the balcony slabs, allow to fully privatize external extensions of the apartments.
